This Sunday, Waldo and Petri shared their stories to remind us that when we say yes to God, His kingdom advances!

From growing up in South Africa to becoming full time missionaries Zambia they have been obedient to God’s call – and they’re only in their mid twenties!

Waldo shared how their move from South Africa wasn’t just a change in geography but a response to God’s stirring for something new. Petri described how sometimes obedience feels uncertain but always leads to purpose.

Their story reminded us that God doesn’t call us to comfort; He calls us to faithfulness. And often, it’s only in hindsight that we see how each “yes” to Him is woven into His bigger plan.

They live intentionally for God’s kingdom - not just in ministry, but in everyday life, relationships, and leadership.

The Kingdom isn’t confined to church walls; it shows up when we bring God’s presence into our workplaces, our families, and our communities.

A New Chapter: Leadership College

Inspired by their stories, with launching our Leadership College at Free Church, we’re creating space for people to grow deeper in faith, character, and influence.

Obedience isn’t always easy - but it’s always worth it. Every time we choose to follow His voice, something of heaven touches earth.

It’s a call for every one of us to ask, “What ground is God calling me to take?” Whether in business, education, or ministry, His invitation is the same: step forward, trust Him, and be part of His story.
